What's up in everybody's life?

May has been an eventful time for me.

I ended my last undergraduate exams on May 5. The paper was Trauma Psychology and Crisis Intervention - possibly the last examinable trauma I will have.

My last exam venue.

On May 6 and 7, I attended HR summit on May 6 and 7. It was one of Asia's biggest HR conferences, and the programme fee was super expensive for students. But we were so fortunate to be sponsored by one of the event sponsors, so a few of us got to go representing AIESEC Singapore. I opened my eyes to the latest corporate HR practices, including innovative compensation and benefits plan such as luxurious travels, as well as got to hear some solutions to HR challenges faced today. Not to mention, there were just so much cool freebies available, such as relaxation music CD, travel medical pack (gonna bring that on my travel to Qatar!), massage services, etc. Our MCVPOGX won a voucher to Universal Studio! Gosh.

Then May 8 to May 15 I was totally occupied with National Planning. It's possibly the first time for AIESEC SG that the MC currents took up active role in leading the planning, so that we can guide them using our experience. I led a day on talent planning. Again, it's the first time for us to do proper talent planning, so it really did put a lot of stress on myself to create proper tools for the planning.

This is my MC team. It's filled with girls!

After that and after a week of working in the office, I officially moved back to home in Malaysia where I'll be spending my 2 months at. I lugged back a car filled with my 11-year Singapore memories, and drove for 6 hours before reaching home.
Then the problem came.
My room needs to make space for these stuff. So I spent the next three days doing spring cleaning for my room, throwing away even older memories, such as primary school exam papers, primary school magazines, secondary school notes, old clothes etc. Eventually, 8 big boxes of memories are now for give away or throw away. ): But the result is I get a cosy room with all my belongings nicely placed for my use and living. =D
And good bye Singapore, I'll come back there only a year after.

BEFORE.

After. =)

Another side of it!

For the next few months, I hope to be travelling a bit in Malaysia to see the famous touristic places that I've always wanted to see! I wish to use this time to know my own country better before venturing into another country.

So that's it. My eventful May. =D Hope to hear from everyone too!

Spring cleaning, poor you!!! My mum always say “You have to throw old stuff to make space for the new stuff” I am trying to embrace this concept, but I can’t seem to do so, I am very sentimental when it comes to old stuff… but not exams papers those are usually throwing away right after the exams :P
You did notice that our team will have 3 girls and 2 boys, still girls majority > it's a global phenomenon I guess!!

Haha yeah.. My MCP 0708 used to tell girl majority is an AP phenomenon, but now I guess it's going global!
I dread spring cleaning, but on the good side of it, it's the only time I get to review all the stuff that I keep for good memory sake - yet I never look at them till the next spring cleaning! I used to be quite sentimental over throwing new stuff, and I can take 1 week to accomplish this chore. But having done that once every year for 11 years (when I was studying in Singapore, I need to change dorm room every year), the sentimental side has been comforted by the prospect of having a clean tidy room!
